Luxurious
Softwood blinds are made with the best materials to require little maintenance and handle humidity like no other.
Why Our Softwood Blinds?
Innately energy-friendly, our woods are chosen for their natural insulating properties.
Cordless options make for a timeless look and tangle-free operation.
Solid or decorative woven tapes not only customize your blinds with a textural accent, but obscure those working bits for increased light control and privacy.
Color & Finish Options
Maintenance
Dust your blinds regularly using an ordinary soft, clean cloth; chemically-treated dust cloth or mitt; feather-like duster; or cylindrical dust brush specially designed for blinds.
For deeper cleaning, vacuum gently with a brush attachment.
Use a can of compressed air or a hand-held hair dryer on the COOL setting to blow off dust and debris.
Options & Controls
We offer several classic, simple options to keep your look clean and the operation convenient.
STANDARD
Standard blinds are manufactured with rout holes and a cord or wand available for 2″ blinds. 2.5″ and 3″ blinds are manufactured with cord tilt only.
ROUTLESS
Maximize light control and provide additional privacy. By eliminating the rout holes in the slats, routless blinds achieve an aesthetically pleasing appearance and reduce light leaks.
SIDE CUTOUTS
To accommodate for door handles and other architectural obstructions, side cutouts are available on horizontal blind applications.
BOTTOM CUTOUTS
To accommodate for door handles and other architectural obstructions, bottom-side cutouts are available on horizontal blind applications.
The Royal Valance comes standard on all softwood blinds (as shown).
Installation
Proper installation is almost as important as the product itself. An improperly installed window blind can be tough to open and can get damaged easily. Elizabeth Shutters has a professional installation crew that comes to your home and installs your custom blinds precisely, making sure that each one operates perfectly.
Our specialists will call you to set up an installation day and time that works for your schedule. Before the installers arrive, remove all old window treatments and move furniture out of the way. This makes it easy for our installation team to get right to work on your new custom window blinds.
If you have any questions about how to operate window blinds, don’t hesitate to ask your installer, or you can always call us directly.
